Ere'Valor

Nestled high in the Tall-Horn mountains, this elven city sits within an ancient white-capped caldera. Ivory stone towers ring the caldera with much of the city occupying the inner slope on the far southern edge with dizzying architecture and winding switchbacks leading from the ancient volcanos floor.
Almost no buildings lay on the floor of the caldera, instead it is left wild and maintained. A broad grassland sits in its center and a ring of thick forest butts against the bottom of the steep upward slope of the inner cone. The entrance to the Dale sits directly in the center of that grassland and one winding road leads through the grassland and forest and into the city.
Several silver dragons live in the mountains around the city and are honored guests whenever they make their way there.
