Ke'le'ni Order

A militant group from ancient times within Triton Society, their name roughly translates to the sensation of seeing the silver scales of a great predator flashing briefly in the depths, usually associated with the moment before it strikes.
They were the professional armies of the Triton during the Silver Crusade, always at the forefront of every victory and the first to shoulder every tragedy.
After the Triton fractured with the deaths of many of their gods, they took on the role of protecting the new Triton settlements with a deadly fervor as well as the temples of the remaining gods. The order itself is very factional, many of the individual chapters in each Triton city and Temple taking on their own tenets and creeds as the centuries passed. There are core tenets that are the same across the board and enforced with frightful brutality.

• None shall defy Boral.
• The Forgotten are Anathema, speak not of them. 
• Triton life is sacred beyond all others. 

The order ultimately swore themselves to Boral, though not out of love but out of the need to conform to protect their people. This has translated into, over the centuries, some of the most fanatical zealots to the god of the sea that exist. 
They often clash with the Kuro Knights, considering their reverence for the fallen gods to be a folly that could doom their people.
