Kessledarf
The largest city near the old borders of Gresseldorf, it serves as the Headquarters of the Jaglefrem Duchy Witch hunters. The town sits on an artificial hill, the remnants of past settlements from eras long past. As such its defensive walls sit below the height of most of the town, buttressed as they are by the earthen hill behind. A tunnel like entrance at the base of the walls leads up to the center of town and is the only way in or out aside from climbing or flying.
Its streets follow the common pattern of many settlements in the Boral Forest, streets forming concentric rings with inwards facing roads never aligned. This allows the town to easily barricade itself from outside intruders. This city was one of the few to hold out for the entirety of the Troll Wars. The Baron of Kessledarf rules the city and the lands around in the Dukes name and deals with things pertaining to that, as he see them; with a heavy hand. The Barons guard is a common sight around town.
Siege of Kessledarf
