Khar'Ji Sha

A low and rambling city half buried in the sands of the Veshk Desert, it is clustered between two large oasis and is home to a dozen full clans of Blue Dragonborn and also serves as the lair and seat of power for an Ancient Blue Dragon called Iknarus, the draconic Suzerain of a large clan of Blue Dragons that occupy the far west of the desert.
The city was originally a part of the Veshk Sultunate, though Iknarus held no allegiance to the human kingdom it benefitted her to allow this until recent changes in the last 100 years. As the sultanate has withdrawn more from the outside world, Khar'Ji Sha has become fully independant, ejecting or killing the Sultans representatives as the demands put on the city became worse and worse.
Three other Blue Dragons commonly make their lair here, Khalanvars(Adult Male), Justarianus (Adult Male) and Trekaniolt (Female Young Adult). Blue dragons commonly travel here (or send representatives) to seek counsel with Iknarus.
The different clans vie for supremacy in the city but this rarely comes to blows. The population has a large amount of humans and some Goliath and small families of other common desert species.
