Kuro Knights

The Kuro Knights rose from the ashes of the Silver Crusade, the term "Kuro" roughly translates to the feeling one has in their chest and head in the crushing depths, the weight of an entire world and is often associated with concepts of grief, depression and redemption among the Triton.   These Triton still venerate The Forgotten, dead or missing gods who were made so at the hands of the god Boral at the end of the Silver Crusade. They consider the Tritons hand in these gods destruction and their living gods enslavement to be a debt that can never be paid but one that they cannot abandon. They see the task of the Silver Crusade as one undone, the tenets and ideals of their fallen gods as ones to be venerated and explored in their honor and memory.    There are few real overarching tenets to the Kuro Knights, instead they are expected to fight evil where they can, to uplift the Triton wherever they can and to keep the memories of their fallen gods alive through deed, song and tale. They see protecting what they consider the "Heart" of the Triton people as one of their primary tasks, trying to ensure that no matter the effects of the God of the Sea that they still keep to the pure and beautiful souls that so entranced their creators. They often fight the agents of Boral where they find them.    Kuro Knights have few bases of operation, they are often at odds with the Ke'li'niand while that orders precepts prohibit the taking of Triton life, they also forbid everything else that the Kuro Knights stand for so clashes and life long imprisonment await any obvious Kuro Knight in many Triton cities. Many Kuro Knights travel alone or in small groups of one or two, taking on squires and apprentices after very careful vetting processes.    There are cities however that do not lean so heavily in favor of that status quo and some that actively fight against it, though Triton cities do not war on each other regardless of their ideology.  It is in these more neutral cities that the main bases of the Kuro Knights can be found and in any city where there are still Temples to the Forgotten one can be sure to find the Kuro Knights.
