Common Lore
The Triton God of Warfare, Defense and Honorable Combat is often shown as a statuesque Triton man wearing intricate scale armor with a shield in one hand and a trident in the other.
He is widely worshiped by the Triton who align strongly towards Boral and respected if not venerated by the rest of Triton kind. He is a god most worshipped by military forces and there are often ritual sacrifices in his honor, often using the hearts of fallen enemy warriors.
Respect among warriors is key to Oburi, a worthwhile enemy is more important than friends or family to him as it is through a worthy foe that one can truly test oneself. Honorable combat and war are very important to him and trials by combat are usually officiated by a Priest of Oburi.
Uncommon Lore
Oburi is the most prolific god of the Triton, siring many children not only among the pantheon but among other gods, spirits, creatures and even the Triton.
The Triton hero Kelles Tanjo was a son of Oburi and was pivotal in helping to prove the worth of the Triton after the betrayal during the Silver Crusade.
Little known or heard lore
Oburi is the reason that Triton die, he considered a state where Triton were unable to die one that made them inherently incomplete and tricked Onna into making them able to die by arguing that they would become stronger through it, not telling her what he was asking her to do specifically on purpose.
