Rashani (Raw-shawn-ee)
The Rashani are as varied as the species of snake, or the vagaries of the humanity from which they stem. They owe their existence to the goddess Rashashana and they worship her and her various children, the degree of which and what gods take precedence depend on the particular temple.
On the continent of Keskad they are a distant people, living on the swampy islands of Solags Folly and minding their own affairs. They do not have any degree of unification, each of their temples serving as a distinct city. They do have a touchstone among the Rashan people, often trading with them and letting them live among the Rashani.
The city of Yuan Valor is the only major settlement that has any degree of contact with the outside world. It is ruled by a Rashan king but serves as the main meeting point between the Rashani of the archipelago and was integral in ending the War of the Scale. Rashani are a common site in Yuan Valor.
The machinations of the Rashani are tempered only by the lack of unity among their people, each Temple having its own goals and desires that may or may not be supported or even considered by the others.
