The Cat-kin

Cat-Kin are a collection of feline humanoid species that live primarily on Keskad and are spread across the continent. Their creation myths highlight an enigmatic goddess who created each species at different times of the day. Tabaxi were created at dawn, Leonin at noon and the Meronin at dusk. The cat-kin venerate the sun, considering it a sign of their goddess' love.      Tabaxi: The Tabaxi of Keskad are an inquisitive and far wandering peoples, encapsulating the essence of the new day they look forward to the next great adventure. The least religious of the Cat-Kin, they are inclined to question anything and everything and while they are obviously happy that their god created them they look towards most tales of her prowess with a knowing twinkle in their eye. When your average Tabaxi is a trickster beyond the pale than the idea of their goddess being the ultimate prankster is a vision of their divine that many run with.   Leonin: The Leonin of Keskad are a stoic people, nomads who wander in places far beyond what would normally be called "Civilization". They are religious but practical, seeing the needs of the life around them as more pressing at any point than that of the divine. The divine will sort out what needs to be divine and the Leonin will sort out what is to be done on the mortal side of things is often their take on things.   Meronix:  The Meronix are the last species their enigmatic goddess created, a diminutive race of cat-kin that finds themselves more comfortable at the spaces between things. A long lived race, they have no known settlements of their own and instead tend to live among their other kin as spiritual advisors, adventurers and tradesmen. They are the most religious of the Cat-kin, venerating their creator as well as the Goddess of the Hidden Moon, a distant and strange goddess considered the inverse of their creator. Meronix can walk on all fours like an actual cat or walk on their hind legs like their cat-kin cousins. They rarely stand taller than a Gnome and can be as small as an overly large housecat.
