The Gods of the Humans
The gods of human kind took their first steps whilst on the material sphere, forming around various actions of the progenitor of all humankind, Solag.
Solag himself started existence as a large fallen comet of primordial earth, launched far into the atmosphere in the early days of the worlds creation and into the void before plummeting back to the material sphere after a millennia of orbit. During this time the primordial earth absorbed the chaotic energies of the void and the mercurial aspects of the plane of air.
After returning to the material sphere, the enormous nether infused shard was found by a group of fey who, heeding the strange whispers and dreams that permeated their minds when around it, settled in place and began the arduous task of carving the stone.
They followed a form and function that they themselves would be hard-pressed to put into words, the fey slowly formed a statue of a large humanoid, brutish looking by their standards. Slowly the Fey, manic and driven, dropped dead in the act of chipping at the stone. Their fellows paying no heed as they fell over and were slowly absorbed into the stone. The time around the shard was twisted and strange, the body of Solag was created and breathed deep the air of the Material Sphere for the first time after what was at the same time 1000 years and only a few months for the Fey doing the carving. The last of which breathed his last with a deranged joy in his eyes when Solag opened his.
Solag stood at the bottom of a worn and ancient crater, shard and chunks of nether infused rock surrounding him and the body of the last of his creators laying at his feet. After a long moment the newly born god lifted the tiny frame and dug a small hole where he had stood, laying the body there and forming a sphere of nether infused rock around it to serve as its tomb.
It was in this crater that the god began to create the first temple to himself. During which he used the scattered shards that where broken from his body in the act of his creation to create companions and helpers. The first of which was Reka, who would help him craft the temple and create a logic and form to the designs where his were chaotic and twisting. Her creation also helped moor him closer to the world, shedding more of the chaotic nature of his birth.
His second creation was the dragon Hasrai, formed also from the shards of nether infused rock and inspired by the large black scaled lizards that where the first life to return to the crater after his birth. It took up the task of aiding the great work though already their deviation from their father was notable. With every new creation, Solag shed more of the nether-born chaos. Seeking companionship like themselves, this creature would individually seek their fathers help in crafting companions and it is from this act that the gods of the dragons were created and the divisions between Metallic and Chromatic were formed.
More gods were formed as the work on the great complex continued, working to a task and a dream that Solag never divulged in full. Kestrel was born by Solags innate desire to explore, sent to find the secrets of the continent they were on and to explore the home of those that crafted him. Boral was created when Kestrel found the sea, sent to its depths to explore them. As the divine weight of his temple complex began to grow, he formed new servants from his own essense and set them to the careful task of building and managing it. These were the various angelic beings that would serve him unto the end.
It was during this time that humanity was first formed. From the barely infused dirt that had been scraped away during the construction of this "First City" he formed a multitude of creatures in his image to aid the other gods and his angelic servants with the construction. These first men were stronger than the humans that live today and immortal, though that strength passed all too quickly with every generation born and while there were soon thousands of them, many were found to be too weak for some of the more important tasks. It was due to this that Solag crafted the first Giant, Rhorxas who in turn crafted his six sons who would become the gods of the giants.
Time was slowly reasserting itself with every creation, every conversion of the void energy that twisted the world lessened its effects and as the first city was nearing its completion it finally normalized. With Solag as the god-king, humanity and its gods spread over the empty continent like wildfire, building more cities and grand works under the direction of Reka. They delved onto the seas after appeasing Boral and stalked the dark eaves of the primordial forests following the teachings of Kestrel.
This era of expansion and creation was not to last as the great work neared its completion, a deep seed of betrayal that had been planted eons before within Rhorxas bore ill fruit and he suddenly struck against his sibling, Hasrai and killed him. The clashes between the Giants and the Dragons were immediate, with humans often being brought into conflicts as well, lead to the war that would destroy the continent, kill Solag and drive the Giants and their gods into an eternal slumber. The rest of the gods of humanity would leave, taking up residence in various other spheres and keep watch for any sign of stirring from the Giants. Many of his other servants, the angelic creations and devas would burn out from the backlash of their creators death while others would maintain their divine spark and continue on, leaderless and purposeless.
It is from this cataclysm that several other human gods arose, Kalus Morel being three divine siblings that were created by Solag as Angelic caretakers who survived his death and found new purpose in aiding the other gods, eventually taking part in a new war in the heavens as the infernal realms of Pandemon saught to overtake the holy world of Celesia. During this war one of the siblings died, tearing all three a part and creating the variables that would lead to their ascension to godhood as "Kalus Morel".
Torl was formed by a group of Devas, leaderless and bereft and driven nearly mad they gathered up the scattered remnants of the original form of Solag and the Nether shards that were left from his original creation and attempted to forge him anew. Instead they created a misshapen and crippled dwarf who they immediately attempted to destroy. They were instead bound by the new god, many of them drained of their divine spark and driven to wander the material sphere as eternal shells of their former selves while the others became servants of the new god.
The white lady was not formed by any act of Solag or his followers, instead slowly forming in the pantheon until it was like she was always there, arising from a dark but necessary undercurrent in humanity.
