The South-Sea Baronies

A collection of island city states who are more often warring with each other over real and imagined slights. They range from fully established city states with well regarded navies to barely functional pirate ports. 
There is a "Council of Barons" who govern the islands, in theory. In practice this is a barely functional body with little power throughout the islands. It barely serves as a functional forum for diplomacy. The Baronies have a close relationship with the Azure Federation but they are not full members. 
A large population of Padjii live on the islands though they are often predated upon by the multitudes of pirates and brigands that live on the islands.

The Azure Federation The Azure Federation is an alliance of the Southern Kingdoms of Man, a series of human kingdoms that sprang up around the fertile Glernorian Plains and ranges from the Boradessal Forest in the west, the Clawe Forest in the East and the Veshk Desert to the north.
The Padjii A race of humans that live most of their lives in or around the water, they have been an offshoot of humanity since the beginning as they took to the water and began exploring in massive canoes. The tribes are very nature oriented, generally esqueing arcane magic soley for Druidic and rarely for divine magics. Padjii Druids are some of the strongest druids on the continent and in regards to the ocean they are the strongest, often with even sea-going species coming to study under them.
