Gith

The Gith are an intelligent race that live in the Astral Plane. There are two types of Gith, the Githyanki and Githzerai. The Gith are born and raised in the Astral Plane and due to this they have the ability to use magic here despite time not flowing.
The Githyanki are violent and warlike. They raid other Gith factions and settlements in the Astral Plane. They value battle prowess and combat skill.
The Githzerai are mindful and studious. They collect knowledge and hone their magical ability. The Githzerai are more peaceful than their Githyanki counterparts.
The Gith live on large, floating vessels and tend to live nomadically.
