Drani
While the Eilmari claim that the Drani are distant cousins of them, the clans of Drani stand by their myths and legends that tell a wholly different story. The arrogance of the Eilmari high elves has already created a rift which drove the Drani in the arms of the Quani with whom they now live in peace.
We tend to the trees and the waters together with our short bretheren, the Briyani. Together, we keep the land balanced and the animals striving.
Peaceful and Cooperative
According to the clan heads of the Drani, they have been roaming the world since the beginning of time. While the Briyani dwarves tended to the land, the Drani took care of the living organisms with a beating heart. They made sure that the animals were kept in check and that there was a healthy balance between predator and prey. It was their promise to their gods, whom they believe has granted them their existence. Just like the Briyani dwarves, they Drani have been put in a long slumber from which they have recently awakened. They found some familiar faces upon their first steps into this new world and mingled with the dwarves they knew from before their long sleep. Wanting to see if their bretheren in other parts of the world have survived, a few clan members took it up on themselves to travel hoping to find long lost family. Some have found their distant cousins, the Quani and Eilmari but quickly learned that arrogance has taken over the latter which has already caused the two groups to clash. Nowadays, the Drani elves live throughout Eshil. They still adjust to the new ways of living and learning about the history of the world that has changed much in the last few millenia. One of the things that most Drani are fascinated by is Cuille that they see in their bretheren. Some clan members have tried to research the condition, but it always resulted in empty hands and sometimes disappearances as well...
