Feedings, Family and Famine
General Summary
After preventing Duke either through his own actions or that of some lesser Hunters, the Vampires were hurt and injured. August driven to a near-critical edge of hunger. Kaj, Cole, and August decided to meet later at night in Hackney on the 2nd of January 2023 to see how each drew out blood. How each hunted and preyed upon their humans.
First, it was Kaj's turn with him taking the group to one of his cultist temples in Hackney to draw blood from the newest member. Using his ability of Obfuscate to keep the minds of his cultists clear, to not question why he was sucking on the newest member's blood.
Second, it was Cole's turn after they went on August's suggestion to a brothel in London. While here, August had paid to visit one of the Mistresses' in the brothel to drink her blood, Cole noticed two addicts who were very on edge. Drawing them away from each other, Cole threatened one that they needed to make a payment to him for the drugs in the blood that he was to suck from him. That moment quickly hazy in the addict's mind as Cole left him to return to his friend and for the two to, once more, await their dealer.
Finally, it was August's turn to drink. She paid for the act of a Mistress at the brothel to cut her hand open and slowly feed blood into her mouth. Bound at the wrists to stop her reaching forward, reacting to draw out more, the Mistress slowly fed her until August was no longer at the near-critical level to feed.
After the group visited August's mother, saw her at the start of 2023 to retain that human connection. For August it allowed her to remind herself that no matter what is happening, she has a family. For Cole and Kaj, it was a moment where they realised that they were either alone or with just their own Kindred now except those they either threatened or controlled.
Rewards Granted
Group were able to regenerate blood and stave off their need to feed for a while.
