Second Inquisition

The Second Inquisition (often shortened to SI) is a union of various secret services with the witch-hunters of the old Inquisition that has begun to systematically hunt vampires all around the globe. The "Second Inquisition" isn't an organization by itself, per se, nor a term used by the hunters involved (they tend to refer to it as "The Coalition" or the "Five Torches"). It's an umbrella term used by Kindred to represent the various hunter associations which have arisen in recent nights.
After Operation Antigen in London, the hunter Ishaq Khan set-up Anti-Terrorism Unit SO13 as a collection of Hunters working in London. The group itself boasts more confirmed Vampire kills then the majority of other groups within the Second Inquisition. The SO13 is ruthlessly effective in the field. Indeed, much of its membership has been victimized by the vampiric menace in some way or another. For the S013, this fight is personal.
Therein lies the problem: while S013 "Headhunters" may have sterilized London in 2013, but they left precious little behind to study or gain actionable intel from. Even members of the ESOG find them a bit overzealous at times. Because of this, SO13 is given precious little jurisdiction outside of the UK - deliberately hamstrung by its international "allies" in order to prevent the British commandos from executing everyone even tangentially involved with blankbody targets during field work.
