Furbourne

Overview

  Wealth: 0 Security: 2 Criminal Influence: 5 Magical Influence: 7   Thousands of years ago, Furbourne was an encampment and fort for the gnolls. It's from this place that they launched their offensive against Radia in the Battyl yl Ryvyll. When the gnolls were defeated they were taken back to Frubourne and imprisoned for nearly a thousand years, never allowed to leave the community. When the Carafax came, Radia was forced to move troops from supervising Furbourne and granted the community their "independence". By this time, Furbourne had been incorporated into Radia. The following years saw some gnolls leave Furbourne and set up a new community Gnollgard, but Furbourne has endured as a place of sadness. To this day, no monuments are allowed to be built to the gnolls and Furbourne is considered a dangerous and ugly place.  
 

Landmarks

 

CAVELLAS

A series of small, cramped housing shoved into caves on the side of a cliff. Poverty and crime and rampant in these areas.  

BREGWIK TRAILER PARK

Lots filled with run-down trailers, tents, and other temporary housing. Garbage is spilled into the streets, the power is constantly going out. Life in Bregwik is hard.  

SKUNK LAKE

Dirty, polluted, and brown as mud, Skunk Lake is a disgusted body of water in Furbourne. There are no beaches, no parks, just gross brown water as far as you can see.

ORDER OF CLERICS

  A series of holy folk who worship Aran'Jurar and provide safety and welcome to those in Furbourne. The Clerics take the initiative to go out in the neighborhood and take on projects to improve things. They build housing and travel with food shelves and libraries.  

GRIISH'S GALLERY

Griish is a purveyor of gnoll art and its ties to gnoll history. His art gallery features gnoll artists who make art commenting on their people's history.    

RADIA INDUSTRIAL STATION

An industrial train shipping point, it's the main source of employment in Furbourne, with many goods moving through the port. It's protected like a fort from the gangs in the area.  

KING'S GROVE

The thick of Wovles til Death territory. The Wolves are a nasty gang that often battles with the Radian Police Force for control of Furbourne. They are impossible to deal with as their only goal is to make Furbourne its own unincorporated territory.
