Maerothia is an ancient beach community that has been a part of Radia for thousands of years. It used to be its own village, but around 5,000 years ago it became part of the city as it rapidly expanded. Once a village of fisherpeople, it's now transformed into the more family-friendly and less luxurious beach experience in Radia. For those looking for parties and green-sand beaches, you'll need to go to Emerald Beach. Mearothia is at the base of a hill and for some reason the winds blow a little colder here than elsewhere, but it hasn't stopped the rich tradition of visiting Maerothia Beach.

GALEBLOOM BEACH

A family-friendly beach filled with barbecue pits, ball fields, and plenty of places to sit and admire the view. On warm days, the beaches quickly fill up. On special holidays, there are often fireworks shows at the beach. This is a favorite place for many halfling and goblin families.

THE OLD MAEROTHIA

This used to be a fishing village, colder and less forgiving. The elves that used to live here have long left, but you can still find the colorful fishing houses and tight alleys where they used to live.

MAEROTHIA MARINA

This marina houses many private speed boats, sailboats, and other small craft throughout the year.

BRIARWOOD AQUARIUM

A large aquarium filled with all kinds of strange sea creatures. From Kraken to siren - families can see them all. There are scheduled shows with megalodon every afternoon. The aquarium employs a large amount of merfolk who live in the waters off the beach.

BELLEVUE HOTEL

A beautiful hotel overlooking the water. Directly connected to the beach. The decor is a little on the nose, but it has an old-school charm that comes along with it. This hotel is one of the more long-standing location in Radia and Maerothia Beach, its a comfortable spot and beloved by those looking for a nice, affordable way to spend time on the beach.

THE BEACH BUM

A beach-themed pub that has mostly given up on the beach theme. It still feels sandy and is filled with tiki torches and fishing paraphernalia, but mostly they serve overly strong drinks and play strange music. It is love by a group of outlaw witches who call themselves the "Oracles"
