Radia Docks

Overview

  • Wealth: 6

  • Criminal Influence: 3
  • Magical Influence: 2
Located just west of Vyshnyrr Gover lies the heart of Radia's shipping industry and transportation hub. While few people spend much leisure time in Radia Docks, it tends to be a hustling and bustling neighborhood in its own way. Ships carry in goods from Olja Werta, airships bring passengers from all over the Allied Kingdoms or overseas, trucks load their cargo and drive it to those in need of it throughout the city. Radia Docks is one of the rare places in the city when dealing move from out of the boardroom and into the real world.

Landmarks

GUNFLINT SHIPPING WAREHOUSE

Warehouses, storage, and offices for Gunflint Shipping and Distribution. Gunflint Shipping is the largest transporter of goods and supplies throughout the world. Their Radia office has been essential in securing Gunflint Shipping's place in their industry. Gunflint continues to dominate the shipping industry and moves billions of gold in goods through their warehouse every year.

RADIA DOCKS FERRY STATION

Ferry Stop for the Radia Docks neighborhood. The Radia Docks are worked by many people who live in the Water Cities outside of Radia and take the ferry to work. The Ferry also continues into the city, making it an important stop for those commuting from other neighborhoods.

PUBLIC DOCKS

This is perhaps the busiest place in all of the Radia Docks neighborhood. All vessels must register as they come in and out of the city, meaning that every day these docks are filled with small merchants and the average citizen who just want to get to their boast and out of the water. The foot traffic is awful, the process is slow, and many will caution you to arrive early if you want to actually spend any meaningful time on the water.

RADIA PASSENGER DOCKS

While train and airship are the primary ways to travel, with portals threatening to disrupt the travel industry more and more every day, the need for passenger sailing ships has significantly diminished, but a few luxury cruise lines remain in operation and they pick up a passenger from the docks here. Passengers needs to take a shuttle to or from the air station to get to the docks, but many still love traveling by sea.

YZYRMEET

"Yzyrmeet" is elvish for both "hello" and "goodbye". This cocktail lounge is frequented by travelers.

GRIFF WUSTHULL INTERNATIONAL AIR STATION

Built in 373 AC, this airfield acts as a hub for all airships incoming and outgoing to Radia. There are 25 gates that lead to a large station where tickets can be purchased and schedules are kept.
