Airships

Airships do exist in the world, though they are very rare and expensive. Their means of flight are ancient Ellef and Uldoth technologies, not well understood, attached to modern craft. In ancient history the Ellef and Uldoth both utilized this technology more frequently, however their secrets have been lost to time. In modern days, very few of these vessels remain.

Utility

Airships can be used to deliver large quantities of people or goods over vast distances, as they can circumvent nearly all natural hindrances.

Manufacturing

Airships must be custom built, to the specifications of the buyer, in order to fit any ancient Ellef of Uldoth 'Flight Set' that is discovered. The 'Flight Set' is the actual mysterious equipment that allows the item to fly.

Access & Availability

Airships are incredibly rare, and while new ships can be built to fit existing 'flight sets', the parts that actually keep the item aloft are no longer able to be made.
The smallest airships, little more than a flying canoe, still cost upwards of 50,000 Gp (5,000 Pl).

Complexity

Very High.
Size (Height, Length, Depth, Weight), capacity, speed and armament all vary by vehicle, according to the needs of the owner and the type of 'Flight Set' used in construction.
