Celestial
Sometimes called the language of Chimes and Song, Celestial is an ancient and nearly lost language on Hijr.
Supposedly written and spoken by the Firstfolk, the original peoples of the world, and sadly the language was basically lost with their passing into legend.
On rare occasions, a well preserved manuscript, scroll or tomb carving bearing these strange symbols is found, and scholars from all across the world clamor to copy and translate every small scrap of it that can be found.
It is said that sometimes creatures from other planes of existence will speak Celestial in their dealings with peoples of Hijr, however this seems to be a very uncommon occurrence.
