Church of Nine Heroes

Nine ancient heroes, rulers, wizards and warriors that symbolize the temperaments, spirits and morals of the Chultan people.

Demography and Population

Many people live on the Chultan Sub-continent, but those descended from the ancient Chultans (Called Omuans) and follow this faith are usually as follows;
  • 50% Human
  • 15% Dwarf (Including Albino Dwarves)
  • 10% Halfling
  • 10% Orc or Half-Orc
  • 10% Elf or Half-Elf
  • 5% Other

Mythology & Lore


Sadly, most of the myths related to these nine heroes have been lost over the centuries since the collapse of Omu.
Some stories remain as oral tradition among the chultan people, and some hints still remain on shrines and ruined temples spread aross the land.

  • Law and Goodness - Shagambi, represented by the Kamadan. 
  • Goodness and Fairness - Moa, Represented by the Jaculi.
  • Wildness and Kindness - I'jin, represented by the Almiraj.
  • Predictability and Uncaring - Obo'laka, represented by the Zorbo.
  • Balance and Uncaring - Unkh, represented by the Flail Snail.
  • Strong-will and Wildness - Kubazan, represented by the Froghemoth.
  • Shrewdness and Selfishness - Papazotl, represented by the Eblis.
  • Selfishness and Cruelty - Nangnang, represented by the Grung.
  • Violence and Unpredictability - Wongo, represented by the Su-Monster.
