Old Ellef Lighthouse

Purpose / Function

Originally built by the Ellef, this structures exact purpose is unknown.

Design

From ththe single point of entry on the ground level (not counting some minor holes or damage caused by time) one can access the massive vertical space that is inside the lighthouse. In the center there is a single steel or silver colored pole ladder, which can be used to access the upper story of the Lighthouse, some 50 feet above the ground floor.
In the upper area sits the large blue-white crystal, which emanates a dull glow during the day, but creates 3 bright beams of Blue-white light after sunset. Two of these beams spin around the tower, counter-clockwise, and a single beam fires straight up into he night sky.

Entries

The Lighthouse has a single doorway, facing due south, which stands open at all times.

Denizens

Noone lives in or operates this structure. Whatever magic powers it appears to make it completely automated.

Contents & Furnishings

Inside the structure, nothing remains but the ladder, the crystal, and debris from items (likely weaker metal and wood furniture) that have rotted or rusted away in the passing centuries.

Valuables

While the building has been picked over many times, occasionally new and strange salvage is indeed discovered. Such finds include small gems, and on at least one occasion an Ellef Flight Set.

Hazards & Traps

No known traps exist within thee lighthouse. The only dangerous aspect of it is the long climb to the second floor on a thin pole ladder.

Alterations

In the some 5 to 7 thousand years since it's construction, this building has suffered immense damage. Despite the unimaginable forces that have battered it for millennia it has suffered only minor damage,and still appears functional.

Architecture

Built from what seems to be a solid piece of White marble, this immense structure shows the beauty and flowing, smooth yet simplistic styles of the ancient Ellef.
