The Non-Ven Magocracy

Dwelling on Lu Ven, alongside the Ven Regality, this small collection of city states is ruled by a council of mages, scholars and druids. The Magocracy tends to meddle little in the lives of it's peoples, rather studying and working behind the scenes to protect them.
Those within the Magocracy that show a talent for magic are usually taken from their families at a young age and trained to harness their skills. While this rite can be refused, it is considered a great honor to have a child trained by the masters, and refusing tends to cause a family to become ostracized by any mages within their home town.
