Founding of the Al'Kemri

Founding

After centuries of war, the Elves and Humanity banded together to build something greater. And while the great war was over, they peoples of Hijr had much animosity and distrust between them.

At the tail end of 'The Sucsession Wars' a small nation was founded, a joint community of Elves, Humans and their offspring (The Half-Elves). This small dessert nation swiftly gained power and influence, after signing a peace agreement with the Dwarves and Orcs, and driving the Hobgoblins across the sea.   The First Emperor of Al'Kemri, a powerful Elf Sorcerer, ruled over his country for centuries. In his lifetime, the nation went from a small City-State in the dessert, to a vast empire of hundreds of villages. Because of their rapid expansion, they practice of slavery became commonplace, conquered peoples often joining the nation as slaves for the betterment of the empire.   The first thousand years of the empire were prosperous, many new cities, temples and grand structures were built. It seemed that the Al'Kemri were, in a strange way, the spiritual successors of the Uldoth and Ellef, reclaiming a fraction of their former glory and power... But dark stirrings began within he empire, and many prominent politicians and mages began to work dark, and vile magics, in an attempt to prevent the empire from fading into history as those before them had.   Estimated -6000 CE through -5000 CE
