The creation of the world was swift and violent, and the Prime material of Hijr was born in Fire.

Amidst the Swirling Darkness of the Before, there was a sudden and violent burst of light and energy. In a fiery instant the Planes were born and sent hurdling through the vast darkness of the spectral sea. All known planes spiral around one another, like a gyroscopic system of planets, they are bound by greater powers than any mortal can understand. The only exceptions are the Abyss itself, which remains locked in place at the exact point of creation as an ever swirling maelstrom of Chaos, and the Astral Plane (spectral sea) through which all other planes float.
