Suddenly, all planes were bound together by ever-changing tunnels and doors. It is unclear why or how these pathways were created, but for the first time in history peoples from different planes could stumble across a gateway to another world, and trade between these worlds began.

Before this event the only peoples whom could travel to different planes of existence were the Firstfolk, the Ellef, and the Uldoth. After this strange event doors, portals and hidden passages to other planes began to appear. And while these doors are rare, and usually very small, they enabled travel and trade between the worlds possible for the first time.
