No one knows from where they came, but we in turn all come from them...
In the shifting sands of the Prime material plane, in the moments after creation 'The Firstfolk' were born. Almost nothing is known about these ancient ancestors of all races, aside from the fact that they were wise, powerful and supposedly immortal. They birthed all other races in the eons following their rise using blood and sorcery. But just as swiftly as they came, they fled our world. never to be heard from again.
