Arbiter's Outpost
The Arbiter’s Outpost is a monastic order of peacekeepers dedicated to the white moon Aalun. The Outpost enforces international law, bounty, and rewards for increasing “international stability”. Each major city holds an outpost, which offers support to local peacekeeping services as requested.
Most monks of the Outpost conceal their identity while they work. There are three general varieties: the investigators, the attendants, and the guardians. Investigators wear loose-fitting silver and gray uniforms and white masks with a single steel disk on the forehead. Their roles are to investigate criminal activity and collect evidence. The attendants, who wear white masks with a crescent steel moon and silver robes, tend to reside in the outposts and act as supportive personnel to investigators, including law keeping, recordkeeping, evidence classification, and prosecuting criminals in courts of law. The guardians act as the muscle of the Outposts and wear shining steel armor and silver silks. Their role is to enforce the peace as need fit and keep order. Each Outpost has a reeve, who acts as the authority in the city’s outpost. Each nation has a “high reeve”, who oversees the civilization’s needs. The entire outpost is run by the Arbiter’s Mouthpiece, the Aasimar Itran, who receives divine blessings and guidance from Aalun itself.
The Arbiter’s Outpost monitors international law and offers international court services as requested.
