Bugbear

Bugbears are monstrous races of goblinoids that roam the spaces between civilization. They are generally considered a nuisance at best and a ferocious tribal group at worst. While not the brightest goblinoid, bugbears are massive and strong. Some scholars have studied their level of autonomy and sentience and consider them intelligent enough to be counted as a race of Hillit, which would provide them certain political protections. Others fight against this designation.

A healthy bugbear ages at a rate of about 0.75 times a healthy human. A typical bugbear could reach the following milestones:

• Adolescence at year 10
• Adulthood at year 13
• Death from old age at year 57
