Captain Varick Bravehand - 'The Branded-Man'

Varick Bravebrand the Captain of the Councils regret, buccaneer and general scoundrel of the sea’s. He is a known thief that somehow slips out of every situation probably with some gold. Many have planned him for the noose, every time he slips it with some daring escapade. His crew are known as the Branded, for all have shackles like branding around their wrists. An old tale of the formation of his crew was breaking a prison and melting the shackles off with acid. Since then as a sign of loyalty his men brand a wrist with heated shackles and serve. In the end he is a good man that has taken many steps to saving friends and the downtrodden alike. It’s a harsh life on his ship but you can bet it’s a good one.
