Drow-ways

The Drow-ways are a network of tunnels that interconnect to underdark cities and settlements to one another. They are sleek cave ways often very purpose build and neat, never being larger than their intended purpose. They are usually quite winding with many intersections and sudden rises and falls in elevations. They are very easy to get lost in and even worse to get found in. The Drow-ways are inhabited by Under-Drow Dark elves from the under-dark. They are a isolate society whom tend to stick to themselves until they require workers for their societal infrastructure, in which case they become rampant slavers. Never taking more than they need but absolutely causing untold harm to better their own invisible empire.
The Under-Drow are an advanced group known to bear basic ballistic weaponry and rudimentary engine technology which uses thermal steam vents and Geophoria as power sources. Their advancement in technology makes them prey to a certain class of surface dweller, those that would steal and backwards engineer the items for personal gain. For this reason the Under-drow stay distant until these folk obtain one of their technologies and systematically destroy the thief and their research, leaving a message for any that would follow.
It is an understood fact that the Dwarves of the Dwarf Roads and the Drow of the Drow-ways are at an almost constant war.
