Rakkon

The Rakkon are the people of the Rakkonje tribes. The Rakkonje are a nomadic peoples, primarily consisting of Centaurs. They are renowned for their excellent healing skills, both magical and nonmagical in nature. The Rakkonje do not have one singular leader; instead, the leaders of each tribe come together to form a council to handle any decisions that will impact the Rakkonje as a whole.
Traditionally, they have lived a highly mobile lifestyle, spending part of the year traveling as separate, small to medium sized tribes, and part of the year traveling together as one large cohort, coming together to share knowledge, culture, and tradition. However, the Rakkonje's historical migration routes have been profoundly disrupted in recent years. The ongoing conflicts being waged by the nations of Coteron and Priok against their neighboring nations have made their traditional routes treacherous and at times inaccessible. These geopolitical tensions have led to increased restrictions and hostilities in regions they once traveled freely, forcing the Rakkonje to adapt to a more fragmented and constrained way of life.
As a result, the Rakkonje have found themselves increasingly displaced from their ancestral migration routes, forced to modify their routes and limit or eliminate large sections of their paths. The difficulties imposed by the political landscape have strained their ability to conduct their customary seasonal migrations and gather their traditional foods and medicines along their routes. This displacement has not only affected their cultural practices but also their ability to provide healing services and maintain their traditional way of life. Despite these challenges, the Rakkonje continue to uphold their ideals, doing their best to adapt to the changing circumstances while seeking to preserve their cultural heritage amid ongoing adversity.
