Clipper couriers

WIP - Summer Camp quality. This will continue to be edited during July and likely after the prizes adjudication.
One of the most well paid jobs in the Svajan Sea Archipelagus is the transport of precious cargo through the insidious waters around the Samuaxi islands.   Most of the ships that specialize in these kind of transports are undercover pirate ships that double up for "cleaner" discrete, fast and reliable transport through the sea quadrant that they best know. These ships are often fast and light clippers that can maneuver around the sand bank and emerging reef rocks that bigger ships need to navigate around, cutting sometimes by several days their navigation time.   Because of their size, they can't hold big cargo, but they are the best option for low weight, high value materials because they can assure their speedy arrival and, most importantly, because of their allegiance are less likely to be targeted by pirate ships.   The temptation of transporting such kind of treasures is high for people that are used to morally ambiguous dealings, but several crews made a reputable name as couriers this way and they can command such high prices for this service that they are unwilling to risk it for an easy one time hit. The risk is also understood by the commissioner and while some merchant adamantly refuse to deal with the clippers crews, they have to resign to lose some competitive advantage because the speed and freshness of the product that the others can provide.   Some clipper also happily transport passengers and documents, though this is normally reserved to the makarids ships of the Zemesh clan who, despite their lose association with their piratey neighbours, they are not know to deal in piracy themselves.   Obviously most of this kind of clients are not people that are actively trying to harm their community, unless they are of the very stupid kind, because accidents are common at sea, in particular when your life is in the hands of someone who might have good reason to prefer you feeding the fish.   The bulk of the commissions is anyway from purchasers of golden flower's pollen that is in high request from the aristocracy and high merchant class both from Bada and from Kithanda. shipments of the pollen sail from the Samuaxi islands several times a week to provide the trendy aphrodisiac to the bedtables of the rich and powerful.
