Shogun - Tezuka Toju

A former Daimyo during the War of the 7 , he was elevated to the newly created title of Shogun by the child Emperor regents. With brutal efficiency, he led the remaining loyal Daimyo into battle and defeated the usurpers. Keeping his title of Shogun after the war ended, he continued his campaign for peace by setting his sights on the dangerous wilds of the world - defeating all sorts of dark creatures. For the last 10 years, the land has known true peace.
Due to Tezuka's direct action, he is revered as a near-deity, especially by the Noble and Samurai class. The peasantry also worship him as well (but many would say in private out of duty to their Daimyo.)
