Chuya, First of the Sun

An upholder of good, and a sovereign lord, Chuya has lived in the Grazelands of Urushz since his birth and keeps it under his watch. His visage is often seen in the sky, blotting out the sun in a total eclipse when flying low enough. His presence is usually seen as a good omen and is associated with good harvest / bounty from a hunt. Chuya's aid seems to come to those who need it most and those who are deserving, while his wrath smites those unworthy of compassion.
Chuya is often cited by followers of Pelor, God of the Sun and Agriculture as a blessing from their god, but there is no clear connection between the two. Spanning roughly 150 feet from head to tail, Chuya is by far the largest of the legendary Couatl with a illustrious golden scaling and wings than gradient from white to red.
