Was once a respected council member of House Grachi. Ventured into Oaer on an expedition and became afflicted with the curse of lycanthropy. Was exiled from House Grachi and took refuge with the mages of Jezero in hopes of finding a cure by studying necromancy. Over the years, Count Havilar became the foremost expert on scientific biology and the study of the soul becoming the Archmage of Necromancy in the process.
