Nadia was the sole survivor of an attack aimed at her home, Castle Rozdelit. The attack on her home was when she found out that she possessed an unheard of innate amount of magical power by killing all of her assailants with a psychic scream. Soon after she was taken in by the mages guild and remains the youngest archmage in history at a mere 17 years of age.
