Affren

A small population of densely pack farms lie together just half a day's travel south of Vanhall. It's center is a small number of buildings, only a 30 minute walk wall to wall, surrounding a tall tower know as Picker's Needle which watches over the landscape. Affren proudly produces advanced medicines with an extreme array or locally grown medicinal herbs and is home of the first and largest hospital.
Due to the abundance of food and medicine produced, many farms have communal churches to Zesemis, God of Dawn, praying for the sun to return each morning to feed their crops; and Udea, Goddess of Fertility to bring rain and plenty to their farms. The doctors heavily worship Virta, Goddess of Life and Death, following her belief that death always comes and that for each death the occurs there is a life saved.
