History & Usage

History

Sirrodite has been used by the roving clans and traders of the Barren Isp for generations as a platform to ease the weight of carrying supplies, and expatiating travel. More recently, Warryn has begun to use the Sirrodite as a show of wealth and to ease the need for a strong foundation in the soft desert sands.

Everyday use

It is used as a building material to lighten the weight of structures on the foundation, or as a "pack animal" to help lighten loads while travelling.

Cultural Significance and Usage

The material is used among the wealthy to show their power, and to allow for more extravagant buildings, as they are not limited by ground space.

Industrial Use

The ore must undergo treatment with strong acids to remove the impurities, then the Sirrodite is shaped with magic for whatever purpose it is being designed for.

Refinement

The impure ore can be used, but it is 1/5 as effective as the purified material.

It is a luxury item, sold to the highest bidder in high end auctions.
