Ruled by a family of halflings, populated by halflings and elves. They live and represent nature.

They believe that ancestors are eternal. Family lines are very important and people are represented by a third title of an ancestor who had done something great beforehand. Ex. Jack Plastor of Vortaein If you are of a bloodline without an ancestor your name would be as follows: Jack Plastor People are very proud of their ancestors and would say their names as follows: Jack of Vortaein.
If a person becomes very popular/famous/a hero/powerful political hero: they will replace the ancestral title for their direct blood-related children.
Marriages are arranged by royals trying to marry into bloodlines of more famous and powerful ancestors. When marrying; the person who has a more powerful or important ancestor keeps their family name and the other changes their family name. Ex. If Jack Plastor of Vortaein marries Steph Kern of Belltin and Belltin is the "better" ancestor the names become Jack Kern of Vortaein and Steph Kern of Belltin Their children would inherit the title of Belltin, and the surname of Kern.
