Prodigal

A blessing and a curse. Favor of the gods, or chosen by fate itself?

Causes

To become Prodigal one must be born under the full moon. Any time of night will do as long as the cycle of the moon is at its zenith when they are born.

Symptoms

Of the ones who are born Prodigal there are only a few things that they will share in common with all others. The body of the person born Prodigal will be able to become stronger than the average of their species, they learn faster than the average, and they lose any physical contact with their parents (whoever/whatever considers them offspring) before or once they turn five years old.
Humans will be noticeably more durable, and the presence/properties of Prodigal beings that aren't human is still being researched.
