Abbot of the Long Death

The Abbot of the Long Death is the leader, and presently founder, of the Oasis of the Ancillary located in the south-east of the Agon Wastes in Aknir. The Abbot works tirelessly to meditate on the meaning of death and teach a number of acolytes the true meaning of life and peace in death, and to proudly await the sea of stars for when their time rightfully comes.

Appointment

They who are admitted must pass three trials:
Trial of Mastery - A monk of Long Death must be a master of the form, and must be able to defend themselves from a number of opponents simultaneously. The first Abbot achieved this trial demonstrating his skill against 12 Paracelsan Acolytes captured from a raid committed by the Order of Rightful Passing.
Trial of Wisdom - A Monk of the Long Death must demonstrate, with credible witness, the ability to project into The Sea of Stars 
Trial of Resilience

Duties

Train acolytes in the form of Long Death and maintain the oasis monastery. Teach the concept of peace in death and prepare people for what lies beyond the stars.

Notable Holders

Nasamos Levenbrand is notably the only holder of the title of Abbot. Though it's assumed that Nasamos has lived longer than a standard tieflings lifespan, no one quite knows how long he has reigned.
