Basic Information

Anatomy

Some appear as fully bipedal humanoids with heads reflecting those of humans and elves, but many  Omul-Șarpe have the head of a naga, the lower body of a snake, or both. Like snakes, the  Omul-Șarpe can appear in a variaty of colors, often reflecting the appearence of their naga progenitor, itself often reflecting its environment. The three most common hues are teal - reflecting the rightous appearance of Sandor - green, and black.

Genetics and Reproduction

Omul-Șarpi have a gestation period averaged at around 200 days, after which they lay a series of 2-8 eggs. These eggs will hatch after an average of 50 days. It is common that only one egg makes it to hatching, keeping  Omul-Șarpi particularly rare.

History

The Omul-Șarpi are the result of a Nagas interbreeding with Holdtronjan humanoids. Hailed as children of Sandor, the  Omul-Șarpi are generally accepted by larger civilization as guardians of law and benevolence. Despite this image, the  Omul-Șarpi are largely uncommon and have no known civilizations of their own in Verdai, much like their Aasimar cousins. Those displeased with humanoid society have been known to retreat to a nagas lair to dedicate their lives to Sandor, building small outposts akin to monastic temples.
