The Death Tyrant
In opposition to the modern meaning of the word "Tyrant", The Death Tyrant is no dictator. Rather, The Death Tyrant is the mortal speaker of Athanasios and dictates the gods will in Solum, keeping his followers on the proper path of respecting death and Martyrdom.

| Hellskeeper
The Hellskeeper Paladin is the top militant unit in The Order, and they take their orders directly from The Death Tyrant. Hellskeepers aren't often deployed to the field of battle unless the threat posed is highly severe. This instance was most common in the years 972-996 2e when The Everlasting of Paracelsus were at their most bold. A Hellskeeper's Army would usually hold 3 platoons lead by Doomguards. |
Nekrós Omilitís
The Nekrós Omilitís (Speaker for the Dead) is the top clerical unit in The Order, and they take their Orders Directly from The Death Tyrant. It is the requisite job of the Nekrós Omilitís to lead high profile temples, like the ones in Athens or Ishtenra, and manage the responsibilities of the entire clergy within a region (I.E Lokrein or Aknir, respectively.) |
| Doomguard
It is the Role of the Doomguard to take high priority action against targets that The Order of Rightful Passing would find heretical. Depending on the scale of the threat, a Doomguard's squadron would usually consist of 3 units lead by Syntagmatárkis'. |
Epískopos
The Epískopos answer directly to the Nekrós Omilitís in their region. Their responsibilities are to the Larger, though not quite capital, temples within a Nekrós Omilitís' region. Most notable of which being the Temple of Athanasios in Sernos. Though said temple is in the country's capital, it receives its orders from the religions capital of Ishtenra. Epískopos are also responsible for funeral rites in Major Cities |
| Syntagmatárkis
The Captains of The Orders Armies, The Syntagmatárkis is responsible for units containing anywhere from 3 to 9 Hoplites each. The Syntagmatárkis is the most commonly deployed unit against forces of undead and the followers of Paracelsus. They are also sometimes called on the help quell local issues in small cities and villages, even if the problem isn't related to undeath or the village aligned with Athanasios. |
Hierophant
Hierophants are the most common rank of Cleric within The Order of Rightful Passing, and as such, they have possibly the largest list of responsibilities. Hierophants lead temple in smaller towns or villages, bless dwellings and families, join the Paladins in crusades against undead, and even train the Nekrophytes to eventually join the Hierophant ranks. |
| Hoplite
Hoplites are the most basic level of paladin within The Order of Rightful Passing. It is very rare that they operate on their own and are most often deployed with their Syntagmatárkis. This doesn't stop them from having individual responsibilities, however. Hoplites are often assigned a number of more militaristic inclined Myrmidons to prepare the warrior to eventually take the Paladins Oath. |
Nekrophyte
The Nekrophyte is the lowest clerical rank within The Order of Rightful Passing. Their duties are rather simple compared to the higher rank, but equally important. This includes Missionary work, gathering evidence of the influence of Paracelsus and his minions, and training in Myrmidons that are leaning toward a clerical aptitude. |
Myrmidon
Myrmidons are the absolute lowest rank within the Order of Rightful Passing, but that does not mean they should be underestimated as each new Myrmidon is properly vetted to be the best in Warriors and Acolyte. Though the word Myrmidon is often associated with fighters, the ranked Myrmidons are prepared for either Paladin-ship or Clerical duties based on their mental and physical prowess.
