Corpse Grim

Is a fabled creature who dwells within the City of the Dead and who sometimes is known to venture into the surrounding countryside and into the city of Gramidern itself.
An Equinox festival is a rolling 3-day celebration including a parade featuring giant puppets made of wood and cloth, including a darkly ominous puppet with 6 fingers on each hand and dark grey horns representing Corpse Grim.

Historical Basis

The legend of Corpse Grim can be reliably traced to the fall of Keren Strongarm, Tyrant of Gramidern and the fall of his conqueror, Lord Thronstrom in 1199, some twenty years after the overthrow of the Tyrant.
