Eventide Shield

• The Eventide Shield are a mercenary group with several chapter houses across Hadean. They have a fearsome reputation, always fulfil their contract and always sell to the highest bidder.
• The Eventide Shield were established by the powerful Eventide family
• They have sold their services to the Helegu among others
• 20 years ago, one chapter lead by Captain Bail Kenzee was employed by the Roaring Host to destroy a rebellious general who had taken up refuge in an abandoned fortress at the fringes of the Brass Desert near the Paracer Ascension.
• Captain Bail retired from the Eventide Shield and with his household set up the Skaedguard in the Chalk tablelands; he ordered his High Steward Eekeb Vandorack to steal sacred Ascension Rites hidden in the Eventide Treasury

Treonol Autocracy

• Rin Darkfighter is the Captain of the Treonol Chapterhouse and Cos Andromias is the High Steward of the Treonol Chapterhouse (is also a High Priest of Bhaal)
• The Treonol chapter of the Eventide Shield engaged the SRG to find the Ascension Rites and return them to the Eventide Shield
