• A majority of the Elder Thing have withdrawn from existence and remain in deep contemplation in an effort to understand the approaching existential annihilation crisis
• Elves believe that while enough of the Elder Gods remained conscious (7 of 13) existence will continue by their continual emittance of radial energy.
• With the current final discontinuance event only 6 of the Elder Gods have emerged and the Elves are convinced that multiverse has begun to unravel.
• Only the Witch Queens have ever uncovered the secret to steal the divine spark of a slumbering Elder God and ascend (specifically from the now fully somnambulant Hecate. 
• With fewer and fewer active Minds and Divine sparks of the Elder Gods, the Spaces are fracturing and unravelling
