Ink of Architeuthis

The Ink was stolen from the Royal Marid Fortress in the City of a Million Pearls by Jessudu, then stolen by Naishud the Exalted and then taken to Admiral Udon.  Jessudu forced Naishud to help her use the sphere to contact the Mind of Architeuthis.  This contact sent sent Naishud insane while Jessudu obtained incredible arcane insight.

Basic properties of Ink include:

• Enemy deterrence
• Suspended darkness
• Alarm
• Empowers magic which uses it (e.g. scrolls)
• Increases lethality of weapons
• Allows the theft of future actions from other individuals
• Passes through most barriers
• Coma inducing
• True Prophecy
• True Hunger
• Obfuscate all attempts to find it

Its truest power is that when used properly in ritual gives direct access to the Mind of Architeuthis.  To the fortunate it reveals the language of the Elder Gods, to all others it reveals madness, despair and a one way trip to the void.
