Lacuna

An arcane Lacuna is a gap in time., where time doesn't pass and exists as it was on the day it was created, unchnaged by the constant ebb and flow of outside existence, Step from the lacuna and a being would find themselves back in real time, but enter the lacuna, a being is transported to a precise moment in time.
Lacunas encountered to date include:

• Lacuna used by Tempus Viridi that dates back to an unknown time before the rise of the Crakade benath the Holocene Fortress
• Lacuna occupied by the Sorne inside Atlantis, dating back to the creation of the first Atlantis
• Mama Tet referred to the Sorceror King trapped inside an amber prison of his own making, understood to be a refernce to a Lacuna

It appears that living inside the Lacuna, a being can be essentially immortal, but is trapped in one point of time. How they are created, controlled and maintained is unknown.

Manifestation

Inside the Sorne Lacuna, it appaered as if the entire sky was the inverse surface of a dark, polisged peice of amber.
The Grenn Dragon Lacuna, was froma  time when millions of trees were crushed together to form a massive warren beneath a wooden mountain.  Periodically amber energy flowed back and forth along individual trees.

Localization

Inside the Lacuna, time does not pass, in the sense that the Lacuna is trapped forever at the point in time in which it was created.  This doesn't mean time ceases, as the BMG spent a full day inside the Green Dragon lacuna and emerged one day later in time relative to external existence.
