Titans

• The Titans are long lived but not immortal. They can enter a deep state of suspended animation lasting millions of years. The Titans are spread across the multiverse, mostly in the Spaces but this is changing.
• Titans were the original armies of the Great Old Ones and were responsible for dealing with the corporeal foes of the Great Old Ones, while the Great Old Ones made war on the modern gods of the day and sought to steal more power from the Elder Gods.
• Titans come in vast and varied forms and are now free from the Great Old Ones, although they can be compelled into service again, though it taxes the Great Old Ones to do so.
• A large force of Titans was assembled by the Great Old Ones who assailed Atlantis. During the fall of Atlantis, a series of apocalypse class artefacts and uber level spells were launched against the Titans. While Atlantis eventually fell, the long-term effect on all Titans who had not already been destroyed, even those who had not participated in the attack on Atlantis, was for all of them to cast across the Spaces.
• Those that have survived the intervening 250,000 years are only now making their way into the mortal world thanks to the unfolding high factor major discontinuance event.
• The Titan, Tethys, who ruled over the Janto from the Echo Plane Panthalessus, entered a voluntary disjunction and spread part of her essence among the Janto. This has enabled her to remain connected to the mortal plane through the Janto, to maintain her form while in suspended animation, to stay connected via dreams and now provides her an easy conduit to return to the mortal world with this major discontinuance event.
• The Titan, Tarsus Tchella, is using the Alin to enter the real world.
• The Titan, Skullbriar, has been lurking in Shadowfel for tens of thousands of years but is now stirring once more and is also seeking to enter the Real World
