Valt

  • Valt’s petrified cocoon remains standing in the treasury rooms of Holocene
  • Valt’s cocoon has been here for 30,000 years when it was the centre piece of a long dead green dragon prince
  • It is unfindable by magical means, the Alin felt its presence somewhere in this world the first time they were here but as Valt was entirely catatonic they never found it or made the connection to the last fissure being at Holocene
  • Inscribed in draconic on a green dragon scale base attached to the base “the professor knows, the professor will free Valt”
  • The darkness that hovers on the edge of your vision
  • Valt is stirring “Below us in a darkened chamber, far older than Holocene of a horror swells and only the professor can save us. There is one among you watching who will find this professor and bring him"
  • Valt is the progenitor of the first Alin and after 6,000 years locked away in the closed chambers of Holocene Sim Arclight wants to locate it and control it
  • The cocoon is the reason that the last rift was at the Holocene Fortress.  The Alin used the cocoon as a powerful artefact to form an anchor from the Alin homeworld to Holocene.  During the Wraith Assembly a Alin Xerarch was occassionally in full possession of some of the attendant warlocks and used its time searching for the coccoon to recreate the wormhole to the Alin homeworlds.
  • Valt was an object for so long, it’s stirring to consciousness and awareness was slow and circular. It’s awareness locked onto the Professor’s when the professor was in the Otherwhere and Valt was using the Professor’s bright mind to trace it’s way back to full awareness.
  • Valt disappeared with the Professor into the orbit of Architeuthis but was later seen by the BMG inside the Otherwhere accessible from the Skyworlds.  A shaggoth was also felt, more than seen in the presence of Valt.
Quotes:   "Valt loves the Professor.
Valt needs the Professor.
Valt is the Professor."
